Calyx Bryant, APC, NCC

(she/they)

Calyx Bryant is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) who works with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults. An Atlanta native, she brings a grounded, culturally responsive approach to therapy, rooted in the belief that healing begins in spaces where people feel safe, seen, and respected. She understands that reaching out for support is a brave first step, and she prioritizes building a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship where openness and vulnerability are welcomed.

Calyx holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies from Agnes Scott College and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Having lived abroad, she brings a global perspective to her work and a deep appreciation for identity, culture, and the many ways people make meaning of their experiences. At her core, she is empathetic, curious, and intentional, believing that growth is not about perfection, but about strengthening self-understanding, compassion, and agency.

Her clinical work is informed by an integrative framework, drawing from client-centered, multicultural, feminist, CBT, and DBT approaches. She tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, values, and lived experiences, with a strong focus on helping clients move toward meaningful goals at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable. She has specialized experience working with eating disorders and body image concerns, substance use and addiction, chronic illness, trauma, and mood- and anxiety-related concerns, and she is especially passionate about supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals.

Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys learning languages, attending concerts and music events (especially Halsey and K-pop), traveling domestically and internationally, creating and editing video content, and connecting with community through social media. A chronic illness advocate with a creative spirit—and unwavering loyalty to In-N-Out—she values authenticity, connection, and balance in both her personal and professional life.

Calyx has immediate availability for virtual appointments! She also offers a free phone consultation and welcomes you to reach out by email, text, or phone to explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
