Elissa Sanders, LPC, CPCS

Elissa Sanders is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor based in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned her undergraduate degree from Spelman College and completed her graduate training in Counseling Psychology at Georgia State University and the Psychological Studies Institute (now Richmont University). Her work is grounded in a holistic, culturally responsive approach that honors the emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical experiences that shape each person’s life.

Elissa brings extensive experience supporting children, adults, and families across Georgia, the U.S., and internationally. She has worked with underserved and homeless communities, educational and faith-based settings, and military populations—developing strategic mental health initiatives that address the unique realities of military culture. Across all settings, her focus remains on creating safe, affirming spaces where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.

At the heart of her work, Elissa believes healing is not about perfection, but about understanding patterns, honoring strengths, and building resilience in ways that feel authentic and sustainable.
